Plantlab auctions assets as part of a “strategic reassessment”

Dutch indoor farming company Plantlab recently held a second round of asset auctions through Troostwijk Auctions, running from 8 September to 22 September 2025. Items listed included agricultural technology, electrical installations, lab inventory, and horticultural LED equipment.

"These sales are part of a strategic reassessment," Plantlab said in its auction notices.

This followed an earlier auction between 20 June and 4 July 2025, which featured similar categories of technical equipment, installations, and horticultural systems. Both sales suggest a significant streamlining of Plantlab's operational footprint.

This follows an announcement five months ago that the company is making its patent portfolio available for acquisition or licensing, covering rights in Europe, the United States, Japan, and the United Arab Emirates.
