The Virginia Farm to School Program increases access to fresh, healthy, Virginia-grown food while providing hands-on learning opportunities for students. From cafeteria tours at Naomi Brooks Elementary and Minnie Howard High School to exploring the innovative vertical systems at Area 2 Farms, attendees saw firsthand how schools and farms are working together to support nutritious food, local agriculture, and student learning.

"We're excited to bring these fresh ideas back to Clarke County Public Schools and continue supporting programs that nurture wellness, sustainability, and innovation," said a representative from the Foundation in a statement.
