Webinar to focus on the future of sustainable cities

Next month, the RECLAIM Network Plus and EPSRC's GREENIN Micro Network Plus will host a joint webinar focused on the future of sustainable cities. The event will bring together voices in innovation and health to examine how urban environments can better support both people and the planet.

Dr Jens Thomas of Farm Urban will discuss Vertical Farming and the Urban Environment, exploring how new agricultural technologies can transform city living and food production. Professor Ian Sinha from Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust will present The Urban Environment and Indoor Environment in Children's Health, highlighting the connections between the spaces we build and the wellbeing of younger generations.

The webinar will take place on 3 December 2025 and aims to be an insightful look at the intersection of sustainability, innovation, and public health in the design of tomorrow's cities.
