Second day of GrowTech Antalya shows potential and challenges

In Antalya, Turkey, the trade show GrowTech has entered its second day. Turkey has a strong agricultural history, but the market's development potential is not yet fully realized.

Despite the rise of large growing companies often backed by investors, the market remains characterized by many smaller growers, limiting specialization and standardization. This continues to be a challenge for exporting to major European retail chains, which require consistent supply and certifications such as GlobalG.A.P.

Even so, more and more Turkish tomatoes are finding their way to Europe, a key market with significant growth potential for the country.
