The first session of a new e-dialogues series will take place on December 9, 2025, from 14:00 to 15:00 CET on the Zoom platform. Participants are invited to register in advance to join a forward-looking conversation that connects innovation, investment, and real-world impact across agrifood systems.
This opening dialogue asks a set of driving questions: What makes agrifood technology a true game changer? Why do some solutions scale across borders while others stay niche? Which emerging trends are shaping the future of global agrifood systems? The session will also look at the policy and investment frameworks that help green technologies reach farmers by overcoming the final hurdles between invention and adoption.
Launched by the EBRD and the FAO Investment Centre, this series aims to spark high-level discussion and encourage knowledge sharing among a wide range of stakeholders. The first event focuses on the innovations that are steering agrifood systems toward sustainable and green growth. Leading voices from the World Intellectual Property Organization, Forward Fooding, the Global Organization for Agricultural Robotics, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will share their perspectives on what defines innovation and how to scale it effectively.
Participants can expect an expert panel discussion, an interactive Q&A segment, live polls, and a close look at the trends shaping the agrifood landscape of tomorrow.
