Fork Farms and Green Our Planet partner to scale indoor agriculture in schools

"We're creating opportunities for every child to grow something that nourishes their community"

Fork Farms and Green Our Planet have officially joined forces to revolutionize how schools and communities grow, learn, and connect through food.

This national partnership combines Fork Farms' scalable hydroponic technology with Green Our Planet's award-winning STEM and sustainability curriculum, empowering schools across the country to bring fresh, local food production directly into the classroom.

Together, the organizations aim to make indoor agriculture accessible, educational, and community-driven—bridging the gap between technology, sustainability, and learning outcomes.

"Green Our Planet shares our belief that access to fresh food and the knowledge to grow it should be universal," said Alex Tyink, Founder and CEO of Fork Farms. "Their mission-driven approach perfectly complements our technology and infrastructure. Together, we can reach more schools and communities while unlocking new funding pathways that make local food systems both sustainable and scalable."

"Partnering with Fork Farms allows us to bring our mission to life at an even greater scale," added Ciara Byrne, CEO and Co-Founder of Green Our Planet. "Their technology gives schools the power to grow food anywhere—and together, we're creating opportunities for every child to experience the joy and impact of growing something that nourishes their community."
