World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit returns to Dubai

The World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit will return to The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre for its third consecutive year. The event brings together senior leaders, investors, and technology developers to discuss how climate-resilient agriculture is shaping food production across the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia.

Speakers include H. E. Dr Abdulaziz Al Malik, Deputy Minister for Research and Innovation at the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, alongside representatives from UAE Food Cluster, Syngenta, ADAFSA, ICARDA, Bidra VC, AgriEdge, and other regional stakeholders. This year's program will cover climate-smart agriculture, sustainable production models, and emerging technologies relevant to the region's food security strategies. Organisers expect more than 250 senior decision-makers and over 85 speakers.

A pre-summit innovation tour will take delegates to Silal's Innovation Oasis, the research and development hub that showcases desalination systems, aquaponics trials, solar-powered farming, and climate-smart greenhouse solutions. Roundtable sessions will be hosted by AL Dahra, Syngenta, and Ergos. Delegates can also join the AGX AI Brunch Club, which will focus on the role of data, policy, and partnerships in responsible AI development for small-scale producers.

A Women in Agriculture Breakfast, hosted by Maaden, will take place on December 9 at 8:00. The opening day closes with a networking reception featuring Moroccan refreshments, hosted by the High Atlas Foundation. With climate pressures increasing across food systems in the region, the summit will provide a platform for collaboration, the exchange of technical insights, and discussions on the deployment of new agricultural technologies.
