Jeollanam-do is speeding up the establishment of a core foundation for agricultural AX (AI conversion) based on artificial intelligence (AI). Jeollanam-do Provincial Government announced that the three core projects being promoted in connection with the national agricultural AX innovation platform were greatly reflected and increased in the 2026 government budget, providing an opportunity for Jeonnam agriculture to transform into a future agricultural structure.
The projects reflected this time are worth a total of 115 billion won, including Agricultural AX Global Business Center (total project cost 45 billion won), Agricultural AX Demonstration Center (total project cost 40 billion won), AI-based growth support data center (total project cost 30 billion won). All three projects will be built in Muan-gun.
Agriculture AX Global Business Center is a specialized platform that supports the overseas expansion of advanced agricultural technology-based companies such as smart agricultural machinery, drones, autonomous agricultural equipment, and smart farm equipment. It is a multi-purpose business base with exhibition and public relations centers, export counseling offices, and corporate support office spaces, and is used as a key infrastructure for strengthening export competitiveness of domestic agricultural technology companies. Core projects, which have been continuously proposed by Jeollanam-do Province, have secured full-fledged driving force through the reflection of the budget.
