On Day 2, the fair resumed on Thursday after a strong cup of coffee, especially after the Berlin party! Once again, snow fell (and this time also ice), making it a logistical challenge to reach the exhibition in Berlin. On Wednesday, the airport was closed until 11 a.m. due to icy conditions, causing a slow start to the week.

As usual, the Holland Hall is bustling with a mix of fresh produce trade and horticulture. However, the presence of horticulture in Hall 3.2 seems to be decreasing. More and more technical exhibitors are now located in the recently renovated Technology Hall.

Between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., the hall was lively, with a stronger focus on technical discussions. Topics such as CO₂ capture and greenhouse construction—particularly for water-based slate cultivation—are prominent. Suppliers catering to the fruit sector can also be found in Hall 3.2.

Unlike other fairs, the awards ceremony is held on the last day, not the first. Among the nominees are Wim Peters Kwekerijen and Enza Zaden.
