It's a wrap on Fruit Logistica 2026. The event remains the global meeting place for the fresh produce industry, supported by dozens of horticultural suppliers. Although not as many technical companies were present as in earlier years, it is still a large event and valued by the suppliers present, who appreciate the efficiency of meeting in Berlin instead of flying around.
The 2026 edition of Fruit Logistica was challenged by icy weather and slippery roads, and had to deal with the closure of Berlin Airport on Thursday because of black ice. Although many intercontinental visitors were present earlier on, this especially affected European visitors coming for a day or two — and many people planning to fly out on Thursday.
