French aquaponics and hydroponics specialist HydrOccitanie has acquired the engineering and training activities of BiOPONi, consolidating more than five years of collaboration between the two companies into a single structure.
The transaction brings together BiOPONi's engineering and training expertise with HydrOccitanie's equipment and assembly operations, creating a combined offer spanning technical and economic engineering, equipment design and supply, project setup support, and training.

"After more than five years of very close collaboration, partnerships on numerous joint projects and strong relationships between our teams, we are pleased to announce the sale of the BiOPONi activities to HydrOccitanie," the companies said in a joint statement. "This evolution marks a natural step in our common journey: to bring together our expertise within the same structure in order to offer a single, experienced and specialized interlocutor for all projects in aquaponics, hydroponics and aquaculture."
The merged entity will serve farmers, entrepreneurs, municipalities, and operators involved in sustainable production systems across aquaponics, hydroponics, and aquaculture projects.
