Grønt fra Nord AS has appointed Mads Pinnerød as interim Chief Financial Officer as the company transitions into its post-restructuring phase. Pinnerød joins through his consulting firm Emiro AS and will support the company in rebuilding its financial structure and guiding its next stage of growth.
"Mads joins post-reconstruction with a clean slate alongside new leadership," says Marius Johansen, Founder and CEO. "He will focus on developing a fresh financing strategy from scratch, including financial modeling, investor outreach, capital raising, and risk management."

External CFO role focused on structure and capital strategy
Pinnerød is a qualified economist and business advisor with experience in strategy, finance, and company development. Through Emiro AS, he has worked with both established businesses and growth companies, focusing on financial management, business structure, and scalable models.
At Grønt fra Nord, his role will center on strengthening financial oversight and preparing the company for renewed investment activity. "The initial focus will be to establish full financial control and transparency," says Pinnerød. "This includes strict cost control, strong cash flow management, and implementation of robust reporting structures and KPIs. We will ensure that we have a solid foundation for investment decisions and growth initiatives, always with a clear focus on profitability."
Joining at a reset point
According to Johansen, the appointment follows a period of ongoing dialogue, with Pinnerød engaging with the company before formally joining after the restructuring. "Mads is driven by challenging opportunities and reached out early to offer his services. We have maintained ongoing dialogue over time, awaiting a more stable phase before formalizing his engagement."
Pinnerød was not involved in the restructuring process itself. "He is joining now for a fresh start with blank sheets, ensuring an unbiased perspective on the company's future," Johansen says.
Financial discipline to guide scaling phase
"The financial strategy will be based on controlled scaling with clear profitability targets at each stage," says Pinnerød. "We will prioritize capital allocation toward initiatives with proven returns and ensure that growth is both operationally and financially sustainable."
He points to regional demand as a key driver behind the company's long-term outlook. "Grønt fra Nord operates in a market with increasing focus on food security and regional value creation in Northern Norway. I see a solid opportunity to build a profitable and capital-disciplined business over time."
