CEAg World announces new Advisory Board

CEAg World has announced the inaugural members of its new advisory board, bringing together a select group of leaders from across the controlled environment agriculture (CEA) ecosystem. The board is designed to reflect the breadth of expertise shaping the industry today, with members contributing insights from greenhouse and vertical farming operations, crop production, sustainability, plant breeding, and commercial strategy.

The founding members include Paul Sellew, CEO of Little Leaf Farms; Tisha Livingston, co-founder of 80 Acres Farms and CEO of Infinite Acres; Renato Zardo, Director of Growing at Great Lakes Growers; Kait Bowdler, Senior Manager of Growth Operations Sustainability Partnerships at Cox Farms; Jay Willmot, CEO of Haven Greens; Zach Jones, Production Controller at The Chef's Garden; Adrian Garcia Scott, Marketing Manager for the U.S. and Canada at Enza Zaden; and Pieter Slaman, founder of GaaS Solutions. Together, the group is expected to help guide CEAg World's strategic direction and support collaboration across the rapidly evolving CEA sector.

A forum for collaboration across the CEA industry
The board is designed to serve as a forum where senior operators, executives, and technical leaders can exchange perspectives on real-world issues facing the industry, from operational efficiency and technology adoption to market dynamics and grower profitability. By facilitating candid peer discussion and highlighting emerging trends, CEAg World aims to strengthen collaboration and advance food grown under cover.

In addition to being a platform for industry dialogue, the board will help surface insights that can inform research, media coverage, and events focused on the practical needs of commercial growers. Members will contribute perspectives that help identify key topics and contributors for programs such as the CEAg World Conference and Expo, Greenhouse CONNECT, and the CEAg World Impact Awards, helping ensure these initiatives remain aligned with the most pressing issues facing the sector.

CEAg World plans to expand the advisory board to approximately 10–15 members representing a range of production models, technologies, and market perspectives across North America.

As the CEA industry continues to evolve, encompassing greenhouse vegetable production and vertical farming along with emerging hybrid models, the advisory board will provide a structured channel for industry leadership to help guide conversations about the sector's next phase of growth.
