Planteria Group, the UK-based indoor plant solutions company founded in 1977, has announced the launch of Vegger in the United Kingdom, introducing a new concept in workplace environments. The initiative centres on transforming offices into living, edible spaces where employees can interact with herbs and vegetables grown on-site and harvested in real time for immediate use or to take home.
Through the partnership, Planteria Group brings Vegger's FlaxFarm and PlantPods solutions to the UK market. Vegger, which has been delivering innovative indoor urban agriculture solutions since 2016, takes a turnkey approach to growing edible greens in any indoor environment, with all products designed and manufactured in the EU and backed by a five-year warranty.
The concept is rooted in sustainability, innovation and wellbeing, actively supporting WELL Certification and ESG objectives in a tangible, people-centred way. Planteria Group, which designs, installs and maintains plant solutions for businesses as well as providing floristry services to the workplace and hospitality sectors, sees Vegger as a natural extension of its long-standing commitment to high-quality indoor green environments.
"I'm excited to be leading the launch of Vegger in the UK. Vegger is an innovative and sustainable modular vertical farm system that brings a new layer of beautiful, functional, and engaging Biophilic Design into the workplace," said Sam McCarthy, who is in charge of the project.
