Lithuania: Leafood farm opening

Valentinas welcomed all invitees

Jesper Hansen with YesHealth Group, the supplier of the farm soft- and hardware

In the upcoming month, YesHealth will be guiding the Leafood team through every farming process, training them to run the farm

Once the farm is up and running fully in the autumn of 2023, they'll be able to produce 1 ton of leafy greens per day

The total footprint of the farm is 4000m2

Leafood will be supplying leafy greens and herbs to IKI, a Lithuanian retail chain

Most of the processes are automated in the farm

In the future, they would love to explore strawberry cultivation in vertical farms
