2.      Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and motivated Sales Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be based in the Netherlands or Belgium and have a proven track record in sales within the horticulture sector. You will play a key role in expanding our footprint in European and international markets by building strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.

3.      Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities in the horticulture and greenhouse sectors.
  • Drive revenue growth by presenting Arugga’s solutions to growers, greenhouse operators, and distribution partners.
  • Provide technical and commercial support throughout the sales cycle.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Represent Arugga at industry trade shows, exhibitions, and customer sites.
  • Collaborate closely with global teams across sales, marketing, and product development.
  • Travel internationally as required (approx. 30-40%).
     

4.      Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in horticulture and controlled environment agriculture.
  • Native-level fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Professional proficiency in French is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally for customer visits, demos, and events.
