Organifarms selected for MassChallenge Switzerland accelerator

Last Monday, Organifarms was selected to participate in the MassChallenge Switzerland 2021 accelerator program. Organifarms was one of over 1000 other startups to apply for the accelerator located in Lausanne, Switzerland.

“We are really excited to be chosen for the MassChallenge Switzerland 2021 Accelerator and looking forward to being part of this global community of startups, mentors, and partners”, says Co-founder Dominik Feiden.

Since 2016 MassChallenge Switzerland has been helping startups across Europe and beyond grow their businesses. To date, 396 MassChallenge Switzerland alumni have raised more than $ 318M in funding and created value for both economies and societies around the world.

Organifarms develops automation technology for indoor farming systems, to reduce costs and contribute to a sustainable food system. The startup was founded by Dominik Feiden, Marian Bolz, Hannah Louise Brown, and Mario Schaefer who bring together skills in management, economics, software development, and mechanical engineering.

Currently, the company is developing its first product which is a harvesting station for strawberries. Through the MassChallenge, Organifarms is hoping to find suitable pilot customers and prepare for the next round of funding.
