Let us introduce you the floating vertical farm. This concept is a final year project by Joseph Chin (CVE4) in collaboration with Flexbase, a floating solutions specialist.
The farm's key features are:
- Located at freshwater reservoirs
- 3-story hydroponics farm with a modular design
- 33m long x 15m wide
- Each module can yield up to 23 tonnes of vegetables per year
- Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) floating pontoons
