Enabling the vertical farming sector to grow

The team at Vertikit comprises scientists and industry professionals who possess broad skills across horticultural science. These individuals have worked extensively with growers and manufacturers in the CEA and vertical farming sectors, both in research and support capacities, and understand the challenges and opportunities within this developing plant production sector.

Dr. William Stiles, Director of Vertikit, talks to Business News Wales about the general plan for the new company. William describes how the vision at the heart of Vertikit is simple: anyone can build their own farm. He says: “We aim to give growers access to the technology used within the major grow-houses, to curate and translate these equipment options, and to showcase the latest technology as it emerges.”

He reiterates that “Vertikit hope that by bringing the best technologies together into a one-stop CEA and vertical farming shop, they can help the industry to develop more rapidly, and help you, the growers, to continue growing in every sense.”
