ZipGrow announces the launch of their newest in-home product, the ZipGarden, which brings hydroponic technology into homes, schools, and community spaces.
"Since ZipGrow Inc. was established, we have focused our energy on commercial producers, both in greenhouses and indoor spaces", explains Eric Lang, President of ZipGrow. "We are now excited to show off our new system, the 'ZipGarden', which we hope will simplify
hydroponic growing for the everyday gardener."
The ZipGrow™ ZipGarden is a small hydroponic system powered by their patented ZipGrow Towers. No matter your local climate, growing experience, or housing situation, the ZipGarden creates an abundant harvest for many varieties of leafy greens and herbs.
"With the advent of COVID-19, we have seen interest in sustainable food sources skyrocket, and we have spent the past 18 months creating a product that enables people to not only reduce food miles but eliminate them completely", adds Lang.
The ZipGarden is designed to be easy to use and completely self-contained. The base of the ZipGarden™ houses a small reservoir that contains all of the water and nutrients essential for your plants. An ultra-quiet pump circulates the solution to the top of the Towers, letting gravity distribute the mixture to the plants' roots before returning to the reservoir and restarting the cycle.
"From leafy greens and herbs to strawberries and tomatoes,
the ZipGarden is a great option for apartments, families, staff lunchrooms, and schools."
Priced at $1,299 USD or $1,699 CAD, the ZipGarden is currently available for pre-orders, with the first units being shipped in November 2021. Pre-order customers will receive a year's supply of nutrients, seeds, Flexi-Plugs, and free shipping to the United States and Canada (remote locations excluded).
