LED iBond International A/S (LED iBond) has signed an agreement with UNI-TROLL Europe ApS and TPS Rental Systems Ltd to deliver smart shelves for a patented new load carrier trolley (UT-M2 VF
Rack) with vertical farming capabilities during transportation and storage. LED iBond’s shelves feature built-in grow light, a key element of the innovative mobile vertical farming solution designed for growing and maintaining fresh herbs and microgreens.
The three parties to the agreement forecast a volume of up to 10,000 smart shelves during 2022–2025. LED iBond has just received the first order for smart shelves under the agreement.

According to the agreement, UNI-TROLL Europe will produce the new trolley while TPS Rental Systems will take part in the rental, financing, and sale of trolleys in the European market. The agreement does not change LED iBond’s previously announced financial outlook.
