Complete and modular internal transport system launched:

"We relieve the employees in the greenhouse by eliminating all tasks related to manual handling of loads"

"Cargo handling covers a significant percentage of intralogistics costs. The way of managing the flow of goods has undergone huge transformations in recent years along with the spread of automated systems", says Krzysztof Korzeniewski with FPHU Maryniaczyk. The company has helped many growers installing logistic systems. Now, they have launched a complete and modular system enabling growers to automate the internal transport of goods in their production.

Large number of repetitive operations
"Logistics automation is especially recommended in production with a large number of repetitive operations because it guarantees a number of benefits in the long term," Kris shows. "A number of devices designed by us included in the system allow for the maximum reduction of logistics costs. It will shorten the path that crops must travel and transports the harvested fruit and vegetables faster to the sorting and packing area."

In results in a minimization of the physical work associated with moving boxes or cartons by employees by using electric and autonomous AGVs, and enables growers to pack the goods using machines into ready-made pallets and transport the fruit and vegetables to their destination.

The team with FPHU has been working since 2021 on the presented system. "It all started with an inquiry from our friendly growers. We analyzed their needs, and based on the collected data, we created a modular system. The automatic logistics system consists of 3 modular groups that can work separately from each other," he shows.

Automatic loading

Group 1 is an automatic loading consisting of two devices: A load-pushing machine and a de-stacking machine. Group 2 is an automatic unloading consisting of two devices: A machine that pushes the load and a machine for stacking empty packages. Then there's group 3: an automatic palletizer with pallet storage.

Automatic unloading

"Customers who do not want to invest a large amount of funds to start can start automation, for example, by purchasing a palletizer, and then they can automate subsequent stages of production over time."

Unique systems
The modularity of the system allows for any arrangement of the machines. Each of the groups can be remote from each other because they work independently with their own software and remain in wireless communication.

The system also supports various types of packaging without the need for mechanical intervention. "Just select the appropriate parameters on the touch control panel to change the configuration," says Krzysztof.

Palletizer

The system can be implemented in any production process, for example, with manual sorting or automatic sorting machine. "We relieve the employees of the greenhouse by eliminating all tasks related to manual handling of loads," he shows. "Software solutions allow growers to create parking spaces and navigate vehicles working in the greenhouse in real-time."

Unique about the FPHU proposition is all elements of the system, including conveyors, are made in their own factory and are based on our own design. "Which means that what also distinguishes our company since 2006 is that this way, we can guarantee the best price-quality ratio as well as professional after-sales service."
