Intent on boosting Singapore’s food resilience:

Singapore Food Agency has launched public tender for five vegetable farming sites

The Singapore Food Agency has launched, for sale via public tender, five land plots in Lim Chu Kang and Sungei Tengah for vegetable farming. It is the seventh tranche of farmland for tender since 2017, in line with the “30 by 30” vision to sustainably produce 30 percent of Singapore’s nutritional needs by 2030, said SFA yesterday.

Two of the land parcels are located in Neo Tiew Harvest Link, with each land area of about 20,250 m2. The other three adjoining parcels in Sungei Tengah Road have land areas between 20,000 m2 and 20,300 m2. The farms should produce leafy vegetables, fruited vegetables, and mushrooms.
