Just days after celebrating its 7th anniversary, Growy is taking the next major step in its journey. As of April 11th, Growy lettuce is available in 500 Jumbo stores across the Netherlands.
For the past year, Growy's products have been available in a select number of stores. This national rollout marks the start of something bigger: scaling up, reaching more people, and proving that vertical farming can truly deliver at retail level.

"There were plenty of moments along the way where people told us it couldn't be done. That vertical farming would never work at scale, or never make it to supermarkets at a competitive price. And to be fair, we understood why. Maybe it was a bit crazy. But sometimes that's exactly what it takes to build something new," said Growy in a statement.
Shoppers will be able to find two of Growy's salad mixes on the shelves: the spicy 'Lekker Pittig' mix and the crispy 'Knapperige Sla'.
