US (OR): Griffin to relocate Salem warehouse to Gresham to accelerate retail expansion

Griffin announces its upcoming move to a new, larger warehouse facility, effective December 15. This strategic decision marks a significant milestone for the company and reflects its ongoing commitment to providing exceptional service and the ability to increase a larger range of inventory.

This agreement with Hydrofarm (HYFM) comes after their recent addition of four new sales representatives to the Griffin retail team, whose focus is on the West Coast region.

"The newly expanded space underscores Griffin's dedication to flexibility and efficiency, which are vital in meeting the evolving needs of our valued customers. The warehouse facility, spanning an impressive 95,000 square feet, introduces a host of benefits to our operations, enabling us to offer customers an even wider array of options for just-in-time delivery. With an additional 1,000 pallets spots for outside storage, equivalent to fifty truckloads of product, we are poised to provide our clients with an unmatched level of service and product availability", said Andrew Barry, Managing Director at Griffin Greenhouse.

"The partnership with Hydrofarm and the move to our new location represent a significant step forward in our commitment to the West Coast. This relocation aligns with our dedication to providing an exceptional customer experience and ensuring that we have the products our customers need when they need them. We are confident that this transition will enhance our capabilities and contribute to our continued growth and success."

"We are excited to support another CEA organization in their horticultural distribution operations. This is a great opportunity for both companies to find synergies and service the customers in our industry," said Gerry Cantwell, Sr. Vice President of Supply Chain, Hydrofarm, LLC.
