Nigeria: Free training course launched for hydroponic growing

Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, in conjunction with Soilless Farms and facilitated by Corporate Farmers is organizing free training for youths in hydroponics and soilless farming.

The training will take place on Friday, 6th June, 2025, at Abeokuta and last for three months. The program is open to youths aged 18-29, including students, farmers, and entrepreneurs who have an interest in agriculture. Female applicants who are passionate about sustainable farming practices are especially encouraged to apply, as most slots are reserved for women.

During the training, participants can expect hands-on learning experiences with expert facilitators and practical exposure to soilless farming systems. The program offers networking opportunities with like-minded individuals, providing a platform to connect and collaborate. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate of participation and have access to business startup support and mentoring to help them build their ventures.
