First FarmCube Neo arrives in the UK

"A tangible solution to the growing global challenge of food sustainability"

This week, GrowSpec reached a milestone with the delivery of the first unit of their latest indoor vertical farming innovation, the FarmCube Neo, to a restaurant on the South Coast in the charming seaside neighborhood of Sandbanks.

Within one of the area's relaxed yet stylish waterfront restaurants, GrowSpec's Regional Director, Chris Watts, is hoping to draw even more attention with a new feature that promises to captivate customers.

Guests at the restaurant can now experience the FarmCube Neo, a compact indoor vertical farm measuring just 1.19m wide and just under 2m tall.

With an internal growing capacity of 2.4m², the FarmCube Neo utilises advanced aeroponics technology to grow fresh micro herbs and leafy greens every day of the year, all without soil and using up to 95% less water compared to traditional farming methods.

This innovative vertical farm, with no direct competitor in the market, will offer diners an authentic "farm to plate" experience. Guests will be able to watch the produce grow and be harvested right before their eyes before it's served fresh on their plate.

Chris commented, "Being the first to showcase the FarmCube Neo in the UK is truly an incredible moment for me. It looks fantastic, and I'm confident it will capture the attention of diners, offering them fresh, flavourful herbs and greens year-round, grown right beside their table. The enhanced taste and freshness of the produce is something that needs to be experienced to be fully appreciated. More importantly, it highlights a tangible solution to the growing global challenge of food sustainability."
