There are still spots available in Wageningen University & Research's vertical farming course.
"Vertical farming holds great promise for producing high-quality crops with very high yields every day of the year. and it enables plant production at any place of the world independent of climate, fertility of soil, or urbanisation. It has a lot of opportunities, but also a number of challenges," says Professor Leo Marcelis.
"In our upcoming Vertical Farming course (5–30 January 2026) at Wageningen University & Research, we bring together professionals, students and researchers in a mixed classroom to explore what really works in controlled environment agriculture."
