Growcer has announced the return of Rootcamp, an in-person bootcamp that gives attendees a foundation for hydroponic farming and demystifies life in a Growcer farm.
To date, Growcer has trained over a hundred growers to grow hydroponically year-round and add over 10 million servings of nutritious vegetables from coast to coast to coast. Growcer is offering Rootcamp as an expansion of its existing training program.
Rootcamp is designed to give attendees the skills and confidence to launch and run a successful modular farm. During the program, you'll train directly inside a working Growcer farm, learning the day-to-day operations from people who have done it themselves. Alongside practical experience, you'll build a strong foundation through in-class instruction that covers the core principles behind controlled environment agriculture and modular farming systems.
Attendees will have direct access to knowledgeable instructors who understand both the technical side of farming and the realities of starting a business. Rootcamp prepares you for what comes before and after the farm is installed, including site preparation, financial planning, and building reliable distribution channels. The goal is not just to teach you how to grow produce, but to help you think through how to make your operation sustainable and profitable from the start.
