US: Purdue University to host hydroponic workshop

If you're curious about growing plants without soil, the Hydroponic Crop Production Workshop is a practical place to start. Taking place on Saturday, September 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., this hands-on session will be held at Purdue University's Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture Greenhouse in West Lafayette. It's designed for both beginners and those considering hydroponics on a larger, commercial scale.

Participants will learn directly from experienced Purdue faculty, with a focus on real-world techniques you can apply at home or in a business setting. The registration fee covers the full day of instruction, along with lunch and snacks, and parking is included at no extra cost.

The workshop will be hosted at the HLA Greenhouse, located at 625 Agriculture Mall Drive. If you'd like to attend, be sure to register in advance. For additional details, you can reach out to Lori-Jolly Brown at [email protected] or Dr. Krishna Nemali at [email protected].
