Office work apparently now includes farming, at least for former senator Manny Villar. The bilyonaryo has shown his fresh batch of lettuce harvest, not from a farm, but inside his office. A tall hydroponic tower has been churning out lettuce from his green workspace.
According to Villar, this is his small way of contributing to food security amid these troubled times.
"It's lettuce harvest time again at our HQ office — fresh, green, and ready! A small but meaningful way to support food security in times of crisis. #HydroponicLettuceTower #VillarCreations," he said in a social media post.
Villar shared a glimpse of his vertical garden last year, saying it doubles as a stress reliever and productivity booster at the office.
