Leafy hydroponics event announced

On September 5, the Leafy Hydroponics Seminar takes place in Hong Kong and looks at the latest trends and technologies in the fast-growing leafy hydroponics sector across Asia-Pacific.

The Leafy Hydroponics Event focuses on three core areas, including market trends in leafy hydroponics, technological advances, and marketing and sales.

Market trends
Marketing and leafy green specialist Bauke van Lenteren will give an overview of the global landscape in leafy greens, developments in the convenience market, and Rijk Zwaan's solutions. Friso Klok, area sales and chain manager for South East Asia, then looks at hydroponic market developments in the region and profiles Rijk Zwaan's leafy product assortment.

Technological developments
A panel of leading horticulture tech suppliers discusses the solutions they're marketing in Asia for leafy production. Speakers include Manuel Madani of Priva, Rani Bassil of Klassman-Deillmann, Kurt Cornelissen of Hortiplan, and Craig de Souza of Signify. The panel will look at best practices and explore learnings from new projects.

Marketing and sales
A panel of key leafy hydroponic grower marketers from across Asia will share details on how they operate in their respective markets and on the key consumer and retail trends.
