DGD welcomes hundreds of international guests during GreenTech

From June 11 to 13, during GreenTech at RAI Amsterdam, Dutch Greenhouse Delta (DGD) will host hundreds of guests from around the world. With a packed schedule across the Dutch horticultural sector, the delegations will be immersed in the sustainable solutions that the Netherlands offers for local food, flower, and plant production.

DGD promotes the Dutch horticultural sector globally as a reliable trade partner. GreenTech week is an important annual event to introduce international guests to the Dutch ecosystem. This year, the organization will welcome six delegations, comprising a total of 130 policymakers, investors, growers, and government officials from China, India, the Gulf region, Japan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

All regional directors of DGD will accompany a delegation to showcase the innovative solutions for fresh production that the Netherlands has to offer. The program includes various networking opportunities, allowing DGD's Dutch partners to connect with the visiting delegations.

Strategic exhibtion program
In addition, Dutch Greenhouse Delta collaborates with public and private partners within the Strategic Exhibition Program. This government initiative aims to achieve impactful promotion for the international audience during GreenTech. Besides the previously mentioned delegations, international guests from the USA, Canada, Brazil, Iran, Iraq, and Korea are also expected. They too will follow a tailored program to explore the Dutch ecosystem.

The partners within this program – including the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LNV), the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), Top Sector Horticulture & Starting Materials (T&U), Municipality of Westland, AVAG, DGD, GreenTech, and World Horti Center – will promote Dutch horticulture at the NL Pavilion at GreenTech (stand 05.728) and through various knowledge sessions and networking events. An exclusive networking dinner and lunch will be organized, offering Dutch companies the opportunity to meet all incoming guests.
