Here’s how you can support their fundraiser

UK: Cycling for the other: GreenTech tour 2023 from Bristol to Amsterdam

Last year, four keen cyclists from LettUs Grow cycled from London to attend Greentech in Amsterdam in 2022. Online calculators suggest that one flight from London to Amsterdam could generate between 99-130kg CO2 per person. Thus, the team managed to save up to 520kg of CO2 from entering the atmosphere. That’s the equivalent of charging 63,254 smartphones.

This June, the team will be taking on the journey again, and they would like to use the opportunity to support some fantastic charities. That’s why the LettUs Grow team is introducing the GreenTech Grand Tour fundraiser 2023.

The charities
Aiming to raise £2000, the money will be donated to two charities; one local charity, Caring in Bristol, which does incredible work supporting homeless communities and people in the company’s home city. The second charity is the WWF Climate Crisis Fund, which supports vital projects to help protect our incredible natural world.

“We’d be very grateful if you could support our cycle by donating to our chosen charities on our JustGiving page. We’ll be making the journey over two days, with approximately 88 miles covered on day 1, followed by a further 55 miles after taking the ferry from Harwich to Hook of Holland. Keep an eye out on our socials on the lead-up to the ride on the 11th of June to find out more,” the team shared.

And, of course, if you are interested in joining the team for all or part of the journey, don’t hesitate to reach out. “Our friend Michael said, “I had such a great time on the Greentech Grand Tour 2022 that I quit my job to cycle across Central America!”

GreenTech attendance
After being fully rested and rewarded for the long trip completed, the LettUs Grow team will be participating in GreenTech 2023 as well. At their booth 05.372VF, the team will be presenting their solutions for greenhouses and vertical farms, including Aeroponic Rolling Benches and farm management software, Ostara.
