Taking a tour of London's largest vertical farm

Today CityEd is taking viewers on a tour of London's largest Vertical Farm in Canada Water. They grow a huge range of crops here, all indoors under artificial light to produce crops year-round with no pesticides or weather/climate risk. All locally-grown produce is provided directly to the Food Hall while supplying restaurants across London, with a mission to build a sustainable, hyper-local food system.

Food production takes up large swathes of the Earth's habitable surface, is a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, and often results in soil degradation and other environmental damage.
